"In the Spring Semester of 2020, I participated in a competition class titled Fashion Design & Wearable Technology and I created a wearable technology garment. Since Covid-19 the class has transitioned from a runway show to a formal presentation, and the winner received an expenses paid trip to Portland at the Adidas Campus Headquarters to develop their wearable. My product is called Shock Defender and the purpose of the garment is to provide the saftey that athletic equipment today is lacking across a wide range of contact sports to properly aid in prolonging an athlete’s career."
